Professionals looking for new job opportunities should understand that they must upload updated CV on all recruitment sites like Naukri, Shine, Times jobs etc. They should also upload their CV on career sites related to individual companies. Also they can subscribe job alerts from different sites which can send them latest jobs.

 

LinkedIn site has too very large number of features which every candidate must use. Hindustan times, The Economic times and Times of India bring their careers columns which every professional must read regularly.

 

Alumni play important role in career building of candidates. Candidates must remain in touch with their college alumni seniors and should regularly take their advice.

 

Recruitment consultants popularly called the head hunters too search better candidates. Candidates should remain in touch with these career or HR consultants. Also there are specialist consultants for different streams. Few talent acquisition consultants are taking care about IT industry and few are specialist for Agribusiness or chemicals stream. Candidate can send their CV to career consultants for their database. Even some of the recruitment consultants give paid services about making good CV

 

Also candidates must upgrade their skills regularly. For example most of the companies now need professional with computer education background. MS Word, Power point presentation are some of the important computer skills that candidates must build. If possible candidate must learn at least one computer programming language like c, C++ etc.

 

Last but not least, It is the attitude that determines altitude. Positive approach and a thirst to grow is prerequisite for better career.
